Role overview
We are looking for someone that has experience working with multiple brands in the digital and social media marketing space. Must be well-organised, a strong communicator, client-facing, and has a genuine love for the power of digital to reach and communicate with people. We are a growing team and need someone that can hit the ground running!
Our agency’s digital work is diverse; one moment you’ll be tasked with running an influencer activation for a government department, to design a grassroots campaign driving consumer participation in a global health awareness day, or running a production day to create quick capture street mic content or corporate talking heads. It’s critical that you have worked, and enjoy working, in designing digital campaigns and activating digital platforms that aren’t just for consumer audiences – complex audiences are our speciality!
You will be challenging how brands drive value from social platforms and delivering great work that solves real business problems.
As a Senior Social Specialist at MHP Group, you will:
- Lead social client teams in crafting strategic social plans and inspiring creative briefs that align with brand objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Develop and execute engaging, platform-optimised content tailored to specific audience needs.
- Lead influencer campaigns from strategy to delivery managing a team to support.
- Ideate and deliver client content production needs, managing the whole process through to content publication.
- Conduct monthly analyses and reports on social media actions to identify successes and new opportunities.
- Apply critical and analytical thinking to client briefs to uncover core challenges and deliver strategic solutions.
- Develop social media content strategies, performing qualitative and quantitative research to generate impactful insights across audience, category, brand, social, and cultural landscapes.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key clients, offering digital counsel and insight to help grow the relationship inline with their needs.
- Establish and refine KPIs and frameworks to evaluate content effectiveness and brand impact.
- Line management responsibilities of junior team
- Collaborate closely with client teams to identify and optimise proactive opportunities, proving the added value of social media strategies.
- Support and promote internal and external education and best practices, inspiring strategic thinking across the agency and client base.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, behaviours, platforms, and tools that are reshaping the social media landscape.
- Contribute significantly to the pitch process, working alongside senior teams to develop strategic plans and deliver effective, coherent presentations; and lead on client growth opportunities from across the portfolio of existing clients
- Continuously refine our social media processes and offerings to maintain industry leadership.
You will:
- Solid experience in social media marketing, with a preference for candidates with account management experience.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and BlueSky.
- Knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing, and reputation management.
- Familiarity with social tools such as scheduling, listening, reporting and influencer identification
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strategic mindset for content creation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple clients, teams, and shifting priorities.
